The South Rock Island Republicans Facebook post continued: "While working at South Rock Island Township, Nichole began taking classes at the Illinois Property Assessment Institution, where she earned her Certified Illinois Assessment Officer Designation in 2006. She continued her education by attending classes and seminars through Illinois Property Assessment Institution and in 2016, Nichole was appointed South Rock Island Township Assessor.
