Rock Island County Zoning Board of Appeals met July 5.

Board Members Present: Chairman Fuhr, Mr. Van Daele, Mr. Coyne, Mr. Brown, and Mr. DeLoose
Staff Present: Gregory Thorpe, Director
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M.
A motion was made to approve the June 7, 2017 minutes. The motion was made by Mr. DeLoose, and seconded by Mr. Coyne. A voice vote was taken, motion carried.
Decision: Case: RZ-17-110 Rezoning
Steve Hale The Rock Island County Zoning Board of Appeals held a hearing at the July 5th meeting at the request of Steve Hale to consider a rezoning from AG-2 General Agricultural District to SE-2 Suburban Estates Medium Density district. There were no objectors present. A motion was made to approve the request by Mr. Van Daele and seconded by Mr. DeLoose. The vote to approve the request was as follows: Chairman Fuhr – Yes; Mr. Brown – Yes; Mr. Coyne – Yes; Mr. DeLoose – Yes; and Mr. Van Daele– Yes. Motion carried.
Case: RZ-17-111 Rezoning
Mark & Patricia Montgomery The Rock Island County Zoning Board of Appeals held a hearing at the request of the Mark & Patricia Montgomery to consider a rezoning from SE-1 Suburban Estates Low Density district to SE-2 Suburban Estes Medium Density District. There were no objectors present. A motion was made to approve the request by Mr. Brown and seconded by Mr. Coyne. The vote to approve the request was as follows: Chairman Fuhr – Yes; Mr. Brown - Yes; Mr. Coyne – Yes; Mr. DeLoose – Yes; and Mr. Van Daele– Yes. Motion carried.
The following Finding of Facts from June 7, 2017 was approved with a motion by Mr. VanDaele and second by Mr. Brown. A voice vote was taken, motion carried.

The motion to adjourn was made by Mr. Brown and second by Mr. DeLoose. A voice vote was taken, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7: 08 p.m.
