Western Illinois University Riverfront Campus recently issued the following announcement.
The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees will meet at 4 p.m. Friday, June 1 in Room 3420A, Building C, on the WIU-Quad Cities campus to consider a resolution regarding the collective bargaining agreement for the WIU Chapter of University Professionals of Illinois (UPI) Local 4100. The tentative agreement was reached May 18 and voting by the members of the WIU chapter took place May 29-30.
Following the open meeting, the Board will convene in closed session for the purpose of considering matters provided for in 5 ILCS 120/2c, including personnel, collective bargaining, litigation and real estate. The complete agenda can be found at wiu.edu/bot.
The next regular meeting of the Board of Trustees will be held Thursday-Friday, June 7-8 at the WIU-Quad Cities campus.
