Moline Fire Department responded to 303 calls in 2017 - 37.7 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Moline included 72 fires - 31 structure fires, 21 vehicle fires and 20 other fires. The fire department also responded to four calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $745,700 in fire loss - or about $10,357 per fire.

The department also received 227 false calls, including 18 malicious calls and 209 other false calls.

The calls resulted in three civilian fire-related injuries and one civilian non-fire injury.
