Q4 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Henry County?

There were 14 offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2019 that live in Henry County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Rock Island Today.

The data shows that 13 men and one woman were released in Henry County. The median age of the parolees was 36. The youngest parolee was a 26-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2019, and the oldest was a 55-year-old man sentenced for a sex crime in 2001.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Scott F. English. He was convicted of homicide in 2000 when he was 30 years old. He is now 50.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
