5. Monthly Report from Finance Department as of July
July brings $1 million revenue still needed to be recognized. Revenues start to go up in July as all the facilities are open during this time. Whitewater Junction, the golf courses and recreation programs are all doing well. RIFAC is still in the rebuilding phase but memberships are increasing. RIFAC tends to be slower though in the summer as well and will pick up when the weather changes.
Financials were reported to the board with a summary explanation of changes and discrepancies. There is a two month lag that will ensure that all revenues and expenditures are reported to give a more accurate look at the department financially.
6. Approval of the Bills for the Month of August for $144,378.53.
