City of Rock Island Arts Commission met Nov. 10.

Call to Order and Roll Call

Temporary Chair Carolyn Krueger called the meeting to order at 4:15 PM.

Approval of the Agenda

Amber Williams moved to approve the agenda for November 10, 2021. Jodie Kavensky seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously on a vote of 5 to 0.

Approval of the Previous Meeting Minutes

Jodie Kavensky moved to approve the minutes for August 11, 2021, 2020. Brandy VandeWalle seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously on a vote of 5 to 0.

New Business

Review of Quad City Arts Annual Action Plan with Quad City Arts Executive Director, Kevin Maynard Kevin Maynard, Executive Director of Quad City Arts distributed copies of, and reviewed with the commission, the Quad City Arts Annual Action Plan for Rock Island. A discussion with the commission followed about possible future art activities and projects in Rock Island.

End of the year report by Kathy Douglass on amount collected from the Art Meters

Kathy Douglass reported on the current account total resulting from the monthly collection of coins from the Art Meters.

Temporary Chair Carolyn Krueger called asked for a motion to adjourn. Jodie Kavensky moved to adjourn. Brett Hitchcock seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously on a vote of 6 to 0 at 5:00 PM.
