COMMUNICATIONS
Update on Continuous Testing for Police Officer Candidates (Leah Madsen, Human Resources Director) Fire Department 2024 Annual Report (Steve Regenwether, Fire Chief)
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Pursuant to Section 2.06, 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act, the Board may enter into executive session to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body.

NEW BUSINESS
1. Acceptance of Resignation of Officer Andrew Dotterer (Darren Gault, Chief of Police) Explanation: Officer Andrew Dotterer submitted his notice of resignation on January 16, 2025, with an effective date of February 1, 2025, following five years of service.

Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends accepting the resignation of Officer Andrew Dotterer, effective February 1, 2025.
2. Acceptance of Resignation of Officer Branden Bowden (Darren Gault, Chief of Police) Explanation: Officer Branden Bowden submitted his notice of resignation on February 10, 2025, with an effective date of February 27, 2025, following three years of service.

Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends accepting the resignation of Officer Bowden, effective February 27, 2025.
3. Acceptance of Resignation of Officer Briana Rumple (Darren Gault, Chief of Police) Explanation: Officer Briana Rumple submitted her notice of resignation on February 24, 2025, with an effective date of March 10, 2025, following four and a half years of service.

Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends accepting the resignation of Officer Rumple, effective March 10, 2025.
4. Approval of Requests to Fill Vacancies (Darren Gault, Chief of Police)
Explanation: Due to the resignations of Officers Andrew Dotterer, Branden Bowden, and Briana Rumple, three vacancies will be created within the department.

Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends approval to fill the vacancies with three new Police Officers.
5. Certification of the Police Sergeant Eligibility Register (Leah Madsen, Human Resources Director) Explanation: The Police Sergeant Eligibility Register has been compiled with the results of the most recent recruitment testing.

Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends certifying the Police Sergeant Eligibility Register as presented.
6. Full-time Appointment of Firefighter/Paramedic (Steven Regenwether, Fire Chief) Explanation: Probationary Firefighter/Paramedic Seth Wallace has successfully completed his probationary period as a Firefighter/Paramedic, effective February 13, 2025.

Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends the full-time appointment of Firefighter/Paramedic Seth Wallace, effective February 13, 2025.
7. Full-time Appointment of Firefighter/Paramedic (Steven Regenwether, Fire Chief) Explanation: Probationary Firefighter/Paramedic Hunter Rowray is scheduled to successfully complete his probationary period as a Firefighter/Paramedic, effective April 18, 2025.

Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends the full-time appointment of Firefighter/Paramedic Hunter Rowray, effective April 18, 2025, pending no concerns develop between today’s date and April 18, 2025.
OTHER BUSINESS
