Revisit the request to install a four-way stop at the intersection of 18th Street A and 25th Avenue. Explanation: Resident Matt Hayes is requesting that a four-way stop be installed at the intersection of 18th Street A and 25th Avenue. There is a two-way stop currently in place at this intersection however; Mr. Hayes stated that there is a line of sight issue with 25th Avenue west bound traffic when at the stop sign on 18th Street A heading south bound. This request is to be revisited at the December Traffic Committee once trees within the line of sight have been properly cut back. 3. Revisit the request to lower the speed limit on 9th Street between 32nd Avenue Court and 33rd Avenue. Explanation: Resident requests that the speed limit be lowered on 9th Street between 32nd Avenue Court and 33rd Avenue. Resident stated that the traffic has increased in the area due to the recent expansion of Hamilton Elementary School and feels that the vehicles are traveling too fast while children are present before and after school. Most vehicles are trying to avoid traffic located at the intersection of 7th Street and 32nd Avenue by traveling south bound on 9th Street in order to access 7th Street from 34th Avenue. Request to be revisited at the December Traffic Committee once proper data has been collected. Please see traffic data report on page 5. 4. Request for a flashing stop sign to be installed at the intersection of 75th Street and 34th Avenue. Explanation: Resident Vidya Suryawanshi at 3403 76th Street is requesting that flashing lights or any type of warning be put up for the two-way stop located at the intersection of 75th Street and 34th Avenue. Ms. Suryawanshi stated that several accidents have occurred in this area because vehicles do not see the stop signs with multiple incidents where vehicles have collided and spun into her fence. Please see accident report on page 7. 5. Request to move parking from the south side to the north side of 14th Avenue between 16th Street and 18th Street A. Explanation: Resident requests that the parking be moved from the south side to the north side of 14th Avenue between 16th Street and 18th Street A. Resident stated that parking is very limited due to the amount of alley ways located on the south side of 14th Avenue. Resident feels it would be very beneficial to allow parking on the north side as there are only two streets that would interfere with residential parking areas. Explanation Page 2 6.
