A member of South Rock Island Township Republicans, Krone spoke up about how important it is to him to contribute to his local community via the organization’s Facebook page.
"Born and raised in Rock Island, T.J. is running for South Rock Island Township trustee to give back to the community that has been such an important part of his life,” according to the statement.

Township trustees are responsible for confirming taxes; adopting the yearly budget and appropriation regulation for all township-related funds; approving all expenses; and auditing bills payable.
“T.J.’s roots run deep in this community and he will be a great asset to the South Rock Island Township team," stated the South Rock Island Township Republicans on its Facebook page.
