McGuire selected as Republican candidate for House District 72

In the March 15 Illinois House Republican primary for District 72, Brandi McGuire won the GOP nomination over  Jordan Thoms. A total of 8,806 votes were cast in Rock Island County. McGuire claimed a total of 5,164 votes (58.64 percent), while Thoms received 3642 votes (41.36 percent).
